Can i automate document processing?
Yes. ForgeFile workflows are designed for repeatable file processing. The REST API lets you submit documents programmatically, poll for results and receive webhook callbacks when processing completes — suitable for integration into any internal system or pipeline.
Do you offer team features?
Yes. Teams can use shared project folders, role-based access controls, usage reporting and real-time collaboration on document operations. Enterprise plans include SSO planning, audit logs and dedicated support.
File Formats
What file formats do you support?
ForgeFile supports common document, image, audio and video formats including PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT, ODT, MP3, WAV, M4A, MP4, AVI, MOV, JPG, PNG and TIFF. The full list is available in the platform after signing in.
Can ForgeFile process scanned PDFs?
Yes. OCR extraction works on scanned PDFs and image files (JPG, PNG, TIFF). The extracted text can then be passed directly to translation or summarization without manual copy-paste.
Is formatting preserved after translation or conversion?
For supported document formats (DOCX, PPTX, PDF), ForgeFile preserves headings, tables, bullet points and layout as closely as the target language allows. Complex custom layouts may require minor manual adjustment.

How accurate are translations and transcriptions?
Accuracy depends on file quality, language pair and source clarity. Clear source files, standard language and defined terminology produce better results. Accuracy figures vary by language pair and document type — contact us for specifics relevant to your workflow.
How do I improve translation quality?
Use high-quality, clean source files without excessive abbreviations or jargon. For domain-specific content, providing terminology lists or context notes at submission helps the AI apply the right register and vocabulary.
Does ForgeFile support specialized terminology?
Yes. You can supply glossaries or terminology notes when submitting documents. This is especially useful for legal, medical, technical and marketing content where precise wording matters.
Security & Privacy
Is my data secure and private?
Files are handled through secure, isolated workflows with encryption in transit and at rest. Privacy-first processing assumptions apply to all business documents. We do not use your files to train AI models.
How long are files stored after processing?
Processed files are available for download for a limited period set by your plan. After that period, files are automatically deleted. Enterprise plans support custom retention and automatic deletion policies.
Is ForgeFile GDPR compliant?
Yes. ForgeFile is GDPR compliant. We offer Data Processing Agreements (DPA) for enterprise customers and provide documentation for security reviews and procurement processes.
Pricing & Plans
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Starter plan is free and lets you process a limited number of pages and minutes each month — enough to evaluate the platform with real files before committing to a paid plan.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. There are no cancellation fees.
Do you offer volume discounts or annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing includes a discount compared to monthly rates. High-volume teams can contact sales for custom pricing based on document volume, language pairs and usage patterns.
API & Enterprise
Do you have an API?
Yes. The ForgeFile REST API supports document submission, status polling, webhook delivery and output retrieval. It covers all services: translation, transcription, summarization, OCR and conversion.
Can I integrate ForgeFile with my internal systems?
Yes. The API is designed for integration into portals, ERPs, CRMs and custom tooling. Webhooks push results to your endpoint when processing completes, removing the need to poll.
What does enterprise support include?
Priority support covers dedicated guidance for integration planning, migration, high-volume troubleshooting and production escalation. Enterprise onboarding includes SSO planning, security review support and DPA signing.
