How we work

Async, focused, no meeting theatre

We optimise for output, not presence. Engineers and designers run their own week with measurable goals, not status meetings. Here is what that looks like day to day.

Async-first

No daily standups. We work across UTC-8 to UTC+3, communicate in writing and book live calls only when a decision needs a real-time conversation.

Small, focused teams

Squads of 3–5 own an end-to-end slice of the product. We ship every 2 weeks. PRs are reviewed within 24 hours, often within 4.

Deep work blocks

We protect roughly 60% of the working week as uninterrupted deep work. No-meeting Tuesdays and Thursdays are written into the calendar by default.

Ownership over scope

You own the problem, not just the ticket. That means cutting scope when needed, pushing back on requirements, and shipping the smallest useful version first.

AI / ML engineering

Mid to senior. Python, PyTorch, vLLM, prompt and eval pipelines for translation, OCR and transcription. Success: a measurable quality lift on one of our public benchmarks within the first quarter.

Full-stack engineering

Mid to senior. TypeScript, React, Laravel, PostgreSQL. You ship customer-facing workflow features end to end — from migration to UI to telemetry.

Infrastructure & platform

Senior. Kubernetes, GPU scheduling, object storage, EU and US data residency. You own latency, cost per job and the boring uptime numbers that make customers trust us.

Product & UX

Mid to senior. You partner with one engineering squad, run discovery with real document teams and own the outcome — not just the spec or the mockup.

Interview process

Four steps, three weeks, no whiteboard riddles

Recruiter call (30 min) — role context and your story.
Take-home or paid system design (2–4 hours) — work that mirrors the actual job, never trivia.
Two panel rounds (60 min each) — deep dive on your craft and a working session with the squad you would join.
Offer within 3 weeks of the first call, with a written band and equity figure on day one.
